What Triggers Your Sexual Attraction?

Me, I’m an eyes guy, but a great ass helps too… does that make me both deep and shallow or just shallowly deep?

I was once making a case to a close female friend that my attractions were purely personality-based. I said I looked for partners with good energy, kindness, interesting things to say, etc..

She quickly shot back, ‘You once made us switch tables at a restaurant so we could get the waitress with better cleavage.’

Touche. I may not be more superficial than I think I am.

But that incident led to many great conversations over the year about what I and others find attractive in a potential partner.

I will stand by my original conviction — and I think this is worth thinking about for everyone — that the most importantfactors for me to feel attracted to someone are as follows:

• Lively Eyes — I immediately connected with someone who has energy in their eyes. It’s trite to say it, but eyes truly are a window into the soul. They project energy, kindness, interest, mischievousness… or a lack of any of those things. A woman can have the best body in the world, but my first glace is always toward the eyes.
