Trying to Spice Up the Bedroom with some Role Play — Would you Hire a Pro?
I’m no stranger to sexy roleplay. Like many long-term couples, my wife and I have gone down the roleplay rabbit hole many, many — many — times.
And also, like many couples, we’ve had varying levels of success.
I remember one roleplay with friends — for my birthday — where the girls were high-priced call girls. Our friend did a fantastic job setting this up. The girls were immaculately dressed. He had a printed menu of services offered and brought cash for me to procure the desired services. Throughout my birthday evening, I would negotiate with him (as their pimp), over my purchases. The girls were perfect — total pros but also teasing me over the more kinky or outlandish requests I had and chastizing me if I got too familiar. They also had an excellent backstory about why they needed to be in the ‘business’, how they needed cash, and how it motivated them to push their boundaries beyond what they sometimes considered ‘decent’ for women of their privileged backgrounds.
They had put hours into preparing for this and admitted later that staying in character and delivering this exactly how they wanted — while fun — was challenging. We’re all professionals and parents by day — not actors or even artistically inclined.
