Sex, Surrender (to equivocal love) Surfing, and Socializing
Might these be the key ingredients of a perfect life?
An old friend once told me, ‘Do things that you love, stay healthy, love and be loved; and contribute — do these things, and you will lead the perfect life.”
This advice has always resonated with me and has been the blueprint by which I lead my life.
In a very deliberate order:
Surrender (to unequivocal love). My parents had the strongest relationship I have ever known, and even as a kid, I knew that was the type of relationship I wanted someday. They were best friends and loved and respected each other despite being very different.
I feel fortunate to have pulled that off with my wife. We are, without question, best friends. We are partners in love, life, and crime. We enjoy raising a family, hanging out, sharing adventures, and even getting naughty together. I can’t imagine a better life partner.
And this is immensely important to me. I’m a needy guy. I hate being alone, and any of my friends could attest that I can be a lot. I find myself so lucky to have found someone who loves me for who I am and who is also amazingly smart, sexy, and fun.
