Are You a Daytime or Evening Sex Person?

I used to have a pretty strong disdain for daytime sex.

It’s not that I didn’t like sex during the day. I’ve always been a bit of a ‘more is better’ type with sex, so I enjoy the physical sensation of sex any time of day. Yet, despite knowing that I would like a daytime quickie, I always resisted it when it was offered.

However, I’ve recently experienced a significant change in my life. Both my wife and I are working far less these days. Call it a quasi-retirement or simply a shift to part-time work, but we, all of a sudden, are finding ourselves with loads of free time during the day.

My wife, who often gets tired in the evenings, is hoping to turn more of this daytime free time into sexy time.

I appreciate the effort and inclination my wife has. Well, I love the fact that she continues to embrace her sexuality, and that she’s coming up with ideas that can keep our sex life active, even as she finds herself less energetic on some evenings.

For me, I need to figure out why I’ve been a little averse to daytime sex, and how to begin to embrace it again. And I say ‘again’ because I used to love daytime sex when we were younger. It’s only in the past decade or so that I’ve begun to deprioritize it.
